THE FLAMING LIPS – RADNESS!
I woke up one day and had a message from Wayne Coyne, of The Flaming Lips, asking me if I wanted to do some work with him and to call him back..
After pinching myself many times to make sure I was actually awake, I texted him and soon after, he called me. I cant explain how great it was to talk with him. Such a cool guy! I saw them play live way back in ’02, I was way up in the nosebleeds and they were about an inch big. And now here I was, talking to the dude on the phone. A magic moment for me, indeed- As I’ve listened to The Flaming Lips for many years now and they’ve kept me company many lonely nights in my studio..
Anyway, before I knew it we were talking on the phone a lot, texting, sending eachother pics and collaborating together! He wanted to work with me on an upcoming show’s rock poster and also a summer of ’12 tour shirt.. So, take a look-
